Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day execution of live transactions, including M&A, debt financings, and equity offerings.
- Build and review detailed financial models: DCF, LBO, merger models, trading and transaction comps.
- Prepare client deliverables including pitch materials, management presentations, CIMs, board materials, and investor marketing documents.
- Conduct in-depth industry and company research across the Energy and Consumer sectors, including thematic analyses, competitive landscapes, and valuation benchmarking.
- Coordinate internal and external parties-senior bankers, clients, lawyers, accountants, and consultants-to drive transaction processes.
- Mentor and oversee Analysts, providing guidance on modeling, analytics, and work product quality.
- Support senior bankers with business development initiatives, idea generation, and client engagement.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or a related field.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills with the ability to independently build and audit complex models.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a polished, professional presentation style.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
- Deep interest in both Energy (Oil & Gas, Energy Transition, Power & Renewables) and Consumer (CPG, Retail, Food & Beverage, Beauty, Consumer Services).
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA, or other advanced credentials a plus.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and capable of thriving in a high-performance culture.
